Alyssa's Bridal Shower 9-13-2008

Alyssa's Friend Audrey made a hat out of the ribbons from the gift for Alyssa to wear. She is supposed to take with her to the rehersal. She stated "it just might not make the airplane". Haha I have it and it will.

She received a card from her mom. She however, could not get through the cover page before she started to cry.

4 Weeks to go!!!!!

There is only 4 more weeks to go until David and Alyssa get married. Oh my gosh. I am nervous. They are getting so excited. I hate to fly and the thought of being on a plane that long is scaring me. I also have to admit I think I am going to cry. I am already getting emotional over the whole idea that my son is getting married. I love Alyssa and think is going to be a wonderful addition to our family. But, he is still my son and I am having a little bit of a hard time. I hope the weather agrees with us and is nice for the wedding since it is on the beach. We hare having a bridal shower next weekend for Alyssa and I will post pics.

Labor Day 2008

We had David and Alyssa come over for dinner on Labor Day. David brought over his poker chips and the game was on. Keith, Shayne, David and Alyssa playing poker. David won the game that night kicking everyones butt.
As you can see Alyssa was not doing too good at this point.
Shayne was getting help from his big brother. Keith was not having a good night. To lose to your son. Oh the shame.
They all had a good time and lots of laughs.

My Favorite Babies

My cat, Winnie. We call her Winnie the Whinnie Woman as she is very very vocal. She is my shadow. Where ever I am, she is.
Bear. Our big baby. We have had him since he was six weeks old. What can I say he is the baby in the house. He gets what he wants. And mom does not make him stay outside, it is too hot!!
